The Creature

The creature was a unique character in both of the movies,

In the first film, When we first see the creature, it’s horrifying and beautiful. it was played by Kit Fredericks, who is an amazing ballet dancer.
In the second film We discover that the creature actually has two parts: the Demon, played by Julie Strain, and Alyda, played by Maria Ford, when Randolph Carter separates the two, the chase is on as the demon tries to reposes Alyda.

Concept

The director, Jean-Paul Ouellette, wanted a “Beautiful Beast”

Application

Kit patiently enduring a grueling 9 hour make-up, included 17 foam latex pieces, 8 ventilated hair pieces, 2 wing protrusions, 2 poly foam ear pushing out and the “on point hooves” boots.
She then shot for 10 hours, and after, a 2-3 hour removal of the make-up.
We used tail hair from a horse mixed with human hair for the head.
She had make-up Covering 70% of her body.
